So I took the surface streets to work today and stopped at a red light on 13th East in front of East High (Go Wildcats!). I watched a group of students through my windshield as they crossed the street and one girl in particular caught my eye. Just as the light changed, I realized that what had caught my attention was her outfit. I owned the exact same one.
In like 1993.
I spent the rest of my commute kicking myself for burning those "classic" pieces from my awkwarder pre-adolescence.
I could have made some serious money.

Meagan, you know I hate it when you post my school pictures on your blog.
I knew life was getting better when I recently read somewhere (Real Simple's tip of the day??) that Pantene hairspray ("that 80s favorite")was back and bigger than ever...
haha, i literally laughed out loud at annie's comment. love it. and why does it seem that just when i feel I may be getting a clue about current trends, they go and change them all!! this is probably why i wear a black tee with jeans about every day.
Sorry Annie, I'll ask next time.
And I may or may not have purchased a can of the "new and improved" Pantene...
And Rissa, never change (: Your style is timeless.
